The happiness within me
That's why I wonder
Is it ever there?
I’m all empty, it just isn’t fair
Why doesn’t anyone ever care?

Why is happiness only seen,
Once and only after it’s been?
Is it a virtue that comes to me
Or is it for someone else to be?
Happiness, it’s worse than fear
For it seems to always disappear
